Six Muskies Named to All World Series Team

The National Amateur Baseball Federation has named its All World Series Team for 2025.  The series champion Beecher Muskies landed six players on the team.

 

Co-MVPs of the series, catcher Marty Coyle and pitcher Bryce Shafer (both pictured at left) led the All World Series team.  Coyle hit .458 in the series and started at catcher for the Muskies in all six of their World Series games.  He drove in five runs and and finished the series with an OPS of 1.042.  Shafer won 3 games in the World Series.  He started the series opener and pitched in relief in both the Muskies' semi-final game and the championship game earning the win in all three.  He had a 2.45 ERA and struck out 18 batters in 11 innings of work.

 

 

Series batting champion AJ Le (pictured right) was also named to the All World Series Team.  The Muskies' left fielder led all batters with a .545 average (12 for 22).  He also led all hitters with 12 RBIs and 9 runs scored in the series.

 

 

Righthander Kris Honel (pictured left) was named to the All World Series squad.  He started the Muskies' quarterfinal game in the series and pitched a complete game as he scattered five hits in route to a 6-1 complete game victory.

 

 

First baseman Patrick Carmody (pictured right) hit .444 in the series and drove in seven runs in six games.  He had an on base percentage of .565 and committed just one error in 42 fielding chances.

 

 

Third baseman Nolan Czako (pictured left) hit .316 with an .856 OPS in the Muskies' six games.
